Allyson Jones is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
(LPCA) who is deeply committed to guiding individuals & families toward healing and personal growth. Allyson has a Bachelor’s
degree in Early Childhood Education, providing a strong foundation in
child development, which proves invaluable when working with individuals who have experienced trauma during their formative years. Allyson also holds a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling and is authorized to provide therapy to individuals of all ages. Allyson has completed specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a research-supported approach proven to be effective in helping individuals, especially children and adolescents, recover from trauma and post-traumatic stress. Recognizing that healing is a collaborative process, Allyson has a history of working closely with both children and their caregivers to help them regain a sense of safety and empowerment. Additionally, Allyson offers therapy for adults, addressing a wide range of trauma-related issues, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and depression.
Allyson's counseling philosophy centers on the belief that healing is possible for anyone, regardless of the extent of their trauma. She approaches her work with empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity. Her techniques are rooted in evidence-based practices, tailored to address each client’s unique needs and therapeutic goals.
Allyson focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions, learn coping strategies, and regain a sense of agency in their lives. Outside of counseling, Allyson finds joy in savoring a cup of good coffee, spending quality time with family and friends, exploring hidden gems, delving into a good book, and enjoying live music.
