Bethany Engler

Bethany Engler received her Bachelor’s in Psychology and

Equine Studies from Asbury University in Wilmore, KY, and her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. Her experience ranges from equine-

facilitated mental health with children and adolescents to mission work in Ukraine with orphans and military veterans. Bethany especially loves working with adopted children and their families. With three adopted siblings in her family, she understands their unique needs and desires to support others and help them thrive. As a Christian, she has the ability to provide faith-based counseling. However, she is not limited to only faith-based counseling and works with clients from all faiths and backgrounds.

Bethany is a Nationally Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. She is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and has a special interest in play therapy and equine therapy. She completed her internship at the Provision School under Joan Miller and has gained experience working with children and families in the therapeutic school setting. She now serves clients from her office at the Provision School in the following areas: Adoption and Attachment issues, Teen Issues, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Coping Skills, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Christian Counseling, Trauma, and PTSD. She also does traditional CBT and EMDR.

Outside of work, Bethany enjoys the outdoors, running, hiking, and backpacking. She loves country life and is currently building a log tiny home on her family’s farm. She also enjoys animals of all kinds, especially horses, and her dog, Gracie.
